| RocketAlienVids: macs are only 1200 starting price. and i do own a lenove. its the thinkpad rseries core2 duo. r61. give me your email, i will send you a picture. | edwardqiu: right... there is no way you own a thinkpad. the screws don't come loose unless you unscrew them. they wouldn't put the led light there if it was useless. i prefer the light more than anything else. in my opinion, macs are way worse, and more expensive too, you don't even get a back lit keyboard at 1000. |
| RocketAlienVids: are you kidding me i own a lenovo thinkpad. its the worst computer i've had in my life. its pretty useful and stuff but no way is this a great laptop. maybe its the vista, but a 3 gb ram its slow. i don't game, i don't listen to music, i don't watch movies on this laptop. i use it for microsoft office and internet browsing only. and in terms of durabilty, it has loose screws in a few places. the led keyboard light is useless. in the dark, it strained my eyes so much, i ended up using my lamp. | edwardqiu: no matter how durable macbooks are, they are not as durable, reliable, or high quality as lenovo thinkpads. i haven't used a laptop that loosens over time yet. lenovo thinkpads have the best keyboards, and led keyboard light, which can be used as a small light source as well, and better functionality. |
| RocketAlienVids: but the apple computers are the best in reliability, design. but the laptops are whats really impressive. its more durable not like if you drop it, but because its a unibody, parts don't loosen over time comfortable to use, for example the back lit keyboard, portability, and long battery life. and it last longer. | edwardqiu: the ipad does more i don't think so. the ipad is just a overpriced pos. the lag will disappear once the u1 goes on sale. |
