The Tecra A5 has 14 WXGA wide screen LCD display with a native resolution of 1280x768 pixels. The laptop's exterior is mostly black but the back of the laptop lid has a silver finish. The laptop has stereo speakers which are located under the LCD display. When compared to its cousin the satellite, clearly the Tecra is the better purchase. The Tecra and Satellite are similar in some aspects however; the Tecra is much more versatile and dynamic. The price of the Tecra is slightly higher than that of the satellite; however, you get what you pay for. Generally the Tecra is more business oriented so therefore has less user features than the satellite. Most home users who purchase the Tecra are under the mindset that more expensive products are better. This is clearly not the case with Toshiba computers. (*)
